Laura Wenrich Miller, LCSW

Laura’s area of expertise is working with foster and adoptive children, adolescents, and their families. Her approach to treatment is eclectic; she uses psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Theraplay (directive play therapy), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), narrative, and cognitive behavioral strategies to help clients resolve trauma and develop healthy relationships. Laura also works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, family and parenting issues, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), attachment issues, ADHD, and bereavement.

Laura has over a decade of experience in mental health services, including working in the home, school, community, and outpatient settings, and as a clinical supervisor. She has also offered trainings to both parents and professionals. Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Florida and Pennsylvania, having earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University in Scranton, PA in 2003. Laura is also a member of the North American Association of Christian Social Workers.

Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, teaching fitness classes, hiking, and exploring new places.
