As a counselor, Carley is passionate about providing a safe and comfortable environment for all clients so that they feel seen, heard, and cared for. She believes that healing occurs in the context of relationships and cares deeply about her clients. It is her desire to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each person she has the honor to work with. Having walked through her own journey of counseling, she knows what it’s like to take the scary step of pursuing help and healing and the freedom that can come from it.
Many of her clients start by saying, “I just don’t feel like myself” or “something needs to change.” They are having trouble getting out of bed, they have lost interest in the things they used to enjoy and many times they feel overwhelmed and anxious and they are needing relief. Carley offers a safe place to explore and discover what is causing such pain, and she walks with my clients towards healing, wholeness, and freedom.
She greatly enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults and specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, gender identity and self-esteem/self-worth. She is here to help you begin your healing journey or to continue the work you’ve already started. This is her passion and she looks forward to discovering your story with you.
Carley received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Saint Leo University and Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time in nature with her two goldendoodles, Huckleberry and Finn.
