As we navigate through life’s challenges sometimes we may need some help along the way. Jami believes that seeking counseling is a courageous endeavor where if we are open to the challenge, new opportunities can emerge that can be life changing. She believes the purpose of therapy is to provide an atmosphere of respect, trust and support while helping people to be empowered to navigate life’s challenges and to discover a renewed sense of hope and peace.
Jami has experience working with couples, families, individuals, children, and adolescents with additional education and training in trauma therapy, Theraplay®, and Gottman Couples Therapy. She also has experience working with grief, depression, anxiety, and healing from trauma to include sexual abuse/assault and physical abuse.
Her favorite scripture is Luke 4:18. ““The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”
Her desire is to see people set free so they can step into the life God called has called them live and experience deeper connection with those they love.
In her free time, she enjoys watching my husband and boys play baseball, taking walks in nature and spending time with friends and family.
