Open Doors is a wonderful place for anyone seeking therapy for themselves or family member. Our therapist, Lyndsey Stubenbort, was so helpful, great with follow up and giving prompt feedback. Everyone I have ever spoken with on the team is so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend Open Doors to anyone!
We have loved Open Doors Counseling and Audra Eastwood! I have personally recommended her to many friends and have given them a personal testimony about how much of a difference she has made in the lives of my husband and I and our children through counseling and play therapy! We are so thankful!
Consistency, like Lyndsey told us in the beginning, was key for my son in his progress in play therapy. We will continue working at home with the tools Lyndsey gave us.
We were so pleased with our sessions. Our counselor helped our daughter learn how to handle her big emotions better. It’s been so amazing to see our daughter talk through her emotions rather than act out on them. She also helped our daughter navigate through her social anxiety and issues with some of her friends at school. We love Mrs. Rome and are so thankful for her help!
I was surprised by how much fun it was for my child. He enjoyed therapy SO much and always looked forward to it! I was surprised that it could be so effective through play.
Gary Beckman was warm and welcoming to my family. He provided a safe environment for my child during each session and it was a positive experience for him. He also provided us as parents, positive next-steps that we could do as a family at home. I would highly recommend Gary to friends and family.
We are so thankful for Lyndsey and how great she was with our son.
At first I wasn't sure about getting counseling. I thought I could solve all my issues on my own. But when I decided to start [seeing Gary Beckman] it helped me through my issues better than I could have ever imagined.
I learned more about myself than I thought was even possible.
My daughter learned so much about herself [with Audra] and felt so loved and cared for while being a client. We are so grateful for the life long tools she was taught and are happy to say she “graduated” from the program.
We are so thankful for Audra! Our child enjoyed every moment of therapy, and we have seen so much growth. It was such a gift to have Audra on our "team" for this season.
Christina is a well prepared professional that not only gave us tools to be successful but empowered us to use them at times when needed.
I loved my sessions. My counselor made me feel safe to talk about whatever I needed and she always listened compassionately to me.
Gary used my son’s interests in drawing to help him express himself and to build rapport.
Without a doubt I recommend Open Doors Counseling, my entire family has found the right therapist for each individual. Both of my daughters feel extremely comfortable with their therapist and for every parent, this should be a sign of relief, knowing that your children can have a safe place to discuss their day-to-day challenges. For our marriage this has also been transformational. We started therapy through Covid, and even though we were doing therapy online, I never felt disconnected I have, and I would forever referred this place and her therapist. I love how me and my husband could work with a therapist that spoke our core language, Spanish, and that she understood more than just our language but our culture. Thank you Christina and Audra.
Honestly how much I have been able to make changes in just the last year was a happy surprise.
Our counselor, Audra, really formed a unique connection with my daughter. My daughter would laugh and play and express her emotions to Audra in a way that she couldn't with us. After some time, I could see my daughter expressing her sadness, frustration, or happiness with me in very specific ways, and healthy ways. Counseling really helped our little girl. We are so grateful for Audra and the time she spent with our family. It made a difference.
We have been so thankful for Open Doors since the unexpected loss of our daughter. As soon as we contacted them, they set aside time to meet with my husband and I in the very early days to help us navigate her memorial with our 6 year old son. They were able to get us started very quickly with devices and placed our son with a great match. Our son felt safe and comfort And we have seen him thrive despite experiencing the worst. We are so thankful for Open Doors!
How liberating it was to get to talk about your issues.
I took my five year old daughter to do play therapy with Gary after her dad and I divorced. Gary helped equip us with the tools we needed to help communicate our emotions. He also gave me as parent perspective and help. I found it very helpful during some of our rockiest times.
