Audra Eastwood, LCSW

Audra is passionate about working with young children and adolescents with sensory processing issues, behavioral problems, ADHD, depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and attachment issues.  Audra has been working with children, tweens, teens, adults, and families in various settings for almost 20 years.  While completing her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Flagler College, she worked several years as a youth leader where she quickly discovered her passion for working with adolescents dealing with emotional, spiritual, and relationship problems. Beginning in 2002, she worked two years as a house “mom” at a maternity home for young, single, and pregnant women and teens and five years as a Case Manager and Intake Specialist at a transitional housing program for homeless men, women, and families. In December 2009, Audra obtained a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. After obtaining her MSW, she worked as a school social worker providing support to students in need of clinical interventions and with homeless students and their families who had lost permanent housing.

In private practice, Audra’s approach to treatment is eclectic; she uses play, art, music, and recreational-based therapy for young children.  For youth and adults, she incorporates a  strengths-based approach and narrative therapy. She also incorporates mindfulness practices and activities for both children and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and/or behavioral issues.  She is a member of North American Association of Christian Social Workers and the National Association of Social Work.

Audra has been married to her husband, Alex, since 2005 and they have two beautiful little girls, ages 9 and 11.  She enjoys going on road trips with her family, spending time with friends, evening strolls with her family and dog, cooking, listening to Podcasts, reading Interior Design blogs, shopping at thrift stores, and watching HGTV.
